About
More about me
Hi, I’m Kirra — a psychologist and the director of Slip Psychology.
I work with adults who have spent years coping, supporting others, and often appearing “together” on the outside, even while things feel heavy internally. Many of the people I support have lived experiences such as emotional neglect, parentification, or challenging family dynamics. They often come to therapy wanting to understand themselves more deeply, reduce overwhelm, and feel more grounded in their day-to-day lives.
My approach is collaborative, steady, and grounded in trauma-informed care. I draw on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and attachment-informed frameworks. I pay close attention to emotional patterns, nervous system responses, and the role of self-compassion in creating meaningful change.
In our work together, you’ll have a space to explore your experiences at a pace that feels safe for you. We focus on building self-awareness, understanding long-standing patterns, and developing practical tools that support your wellbeing and values. My role is to walk alongside you as you make sense of what you’ve carried — and what feels important moving forward.
