A Safe Space for Adults Carrying Childhood Wounds

Hi, I’m Kirra. I’m a psychologist at Slip Psychology.

I work with adults who’ve spent years holding it all together—often the strong ones, the caregivers, the fixers. Many of my clients have histories of emotional neglect, parentification, or relational trauma. Outwardly, they’re coping. Inwardly, they may feel lost, anxious, or unsure why life still feels heavy.

My therapeutic approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in trauma-informed care. I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and EFT-informed methods, with a focus on attachment, nervous system awareness, and compassion-based work.

Together, we explore how early experiences shaped your emotional world, helping you understand what you’ve carried and why. In therapy, you have space to explore your feelings, build self-awareness, and reflect on patterns that may be impacting your life.
